ECU Health Physicians in partnership with The Outer Banks Health Cowell Center, an ACoS Commission on Cancer accredited program located in Nags Head, North Carolina are seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their growing oncology practice. Applicants with oncology experience are preferred. Providers with bone marrow biopsy experience are encouraged to apply.

- Join a coastal oncology practice which includes our Hematology Oncologist, Radiation Oncology medical director, 2 advanced oncology practice providers, 3 oncology certified nurses, Nurse Director, Assistant Nurse manager, and breast health certified nurse navigator
- New state-of-the-art cancer center located 2 blocks from the beach that opened in January 2024 with 10 infusion spaces, 4 exam rooms, radiation therapy Vital Beam linear accelerator, large boardroom for community and team meetings, image renewal services, nurse navigation, and healing gardens
- 100% outpatient with shared coverage in both hematology oncology and urology clinics to include new consults and follow ups in clinic and help managing infusion reactions
- No call
- Schedule includes a 4-day work week with 32 patient contact hours (0.8 FTE)
- NAPBC Breast Accreditation Breast Center
- ACRO accredited Radiation Therapy Center
- Integrative Medicine provider for consultation and referral
- Multidisciplinary cancer committee structure with monthly tumor boards and bi-monthly breast tumor boards
- Support from the ECU Health Cancer Center multidisciplinary team in Greenville, NC
- BLS by the American Heart Association is required

The Outer Banks Hospital (OBH) is a full-service critical access hospital offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services. The hospital is designed to meet the needs of the coastal community, whose year-round population of approximately 35,000 swells to about 350,000 in the summer season. The hospital's 21-bed emergency department serves approximately 23,100 patients each year.
