Must have a Master's in Nursing, NP certificate, and a current unrestricted license; national certification is required on employment. Hospital privileges for on-call duties may be needed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing required.
• Current and unrestricted nursing license required.
• Nurse Practitioner program certificate required.
• National Certification for Nurse Practitioners required upon employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical examinations and manage cancer treatment complications.
• Counsel patients and families; monitor patient progress and document in EMR.
• Develop and implement treatment plans; order/interpret diagnostic studies.
• Collaborate with healthcare team; ensure appropriate hospital privileges for call.
• Provide patient education on prevention, meds, and follow-up care.
