Job summary

Beacon Health System in South Bend, IN is seeking an Oncology Nurse Navigator for the Beacon Medical Group. This full-time day position includes coordinating cancer care from diagnosis through survivorship, educating patients about services, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered; RN license in Indiana and OCN certification (or within two years) are required, with leadership experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires licensed RN in Indiana with Oncology Certified Nursing (OCN) credentials or certification within two years of hire.
• Minimum five years of oncology nursing experience preferred.
• Prior leadership experience in a healthcare setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate oncology patient care across the continuum from diagnosis through survivorship and follow-up.
• Identify barriers to care and develop strategies to support treatment compliance and positive outcomes.
• Serve as liaison among patients, families, physicians, and care teams to ensure effective communication.
