Job summary

OhioHealth Oncology Support Services seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to educate and support cancer patients across the continuum of care. The role focuses on addressing disparities, coordinating resources, and advocating for patients within a multidisciplinary team.

The position entails bedside and educational duties, collaboration with managing physicians, and participation in quality improvement. Day shift, 40 hours weekly, Columbus, Ohio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (Required) RN - Registered Nurse - Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Current licensure to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Clinical knowledge of oncology.
• 3-5 years clinical experience in Oncology.

Responsibilities

• Assess learning needs, provide education and navigation to cancer patients and families.
• Participate in quality control and assurance.
• Participate in process improvement activities.
• May participate in some aspects of clinical care as needed.
• Other duties may vary by department as requested by supervisor.
