Join to apply for the Oncology Nurse Navigator role at Onco360 Oncology Pharmacy.

Onco360 is a unique Oncology Pharmacy model created to serve community, oncology, hematology physicians, patients, payers, and manufacturers. Our pharmacy in Louisville, KY is seeking an Oncology Nurse Navigator to join our growing team. The hours are 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM EST, Monday to Friday. This position is remote, but candidates must live within a commutable distance to Louisville, KY.

Starting salary is $72K and above. The Oncology Nurse Navigator is a nursing professional who specializes in caring for people with cancer. Responsibilities include providing professional services to oncology patients to maximize quality and safety, coordinating care throughout treatment, managing and counseling patients, and following established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with patients to help them understand their disease, treatment plans, and side effects.
  • Provide medication therapy management.
  • Assist healthcare providers and patients via phone, answering questions and requests.
  • Review patients' medical and health histories.
  • Communicate with patients and physician’s office staff.
  • Comply with professional practice and confidentiality laws.
  • Document adverse drug reactions and medication errors.
  • Monitor patient progress towards treatment goals.

Qualifications:

  • Required: Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Desired: 1+ years of oncology experience
  • Required: 1+ years in a healthcare setting
  • Desired: experience in a specialty pharmacy setting
  • Skills: compassion, communication, critical thinking, adaptability, attention to detail
  • Required: current RN license
  • Desired: ONCC or ONS certification

Behavioral competencies include compassion, outgoing and energetic attitude, multi-tasking, and good listening skills.
