Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in New York seeks a Nurse II (Per Diem) for First Shift in the Perioperative Care Unit. The role covers planning, providing, and supervising nursing care for cancer patients, executing medical regimens, and supervising nursing staff.

The position features a short, unscheduled notice and a variable schedule with a first-shift, part-time arrangement. Starting hourly rate is $46.24.

Competenze

• RN license in NY required.
• Graduation from accredited nursing program; experience options include oncology (1 year), critical care (1 year), or medical-surgical (2 years).
• Roswell Park nursing orientation and ability to function independently after orientation (3 months) as Nurse II.
• Note: one-year probationary period as Nurse II.

Mansioni

• Plans, provides and supervises nursing interventions for cancer patients.
• Executes physician orders and provides patient teaching and counseling.
• Supervises Nurse I, LPNs, and clinical support staff within the unit.
• Performs administrative duties for assigned area and participates in educational activities.
