Job summary

Tennessee Oncology is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care across the cancer care continuum at our Gallatin and surrounding clinics. You will support patients from diagnosis through treatment and into survivorship, coordinating with SCRI researchers when applicable.

Responsibilities include IV starts, chemotherapy administration under TO standards, EMR documentation, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in TN or compact state
• Oncology experience preferred in outpatient setting
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Provides patients with safe, quality care through all treatment stages.
• Collaborates with physicians and care teams to assess symptoms and manage side effects.
• Performs IV starts and monitors venous access devices as needed.
• Documents care, orders, and billing accurately in the EMR.
• Tours patients, educates on treatments, and supports informed consent and decision making.
