Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC is seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse Practitioner for outpatient care in Bethesda/Glen Burnie, Maryland. The role emphasizes strong collaboration with Nuclear Medicine physicians and a focus on theranostics, with a Monday–Friday outpatient schedule and no inpatient duties.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in outpatient oncology, solid-tumor expertise, and a passion for learning theranostics, labs, and imaging to guide treatment plans and patient journeys.

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner credentials and Maryland licensure.
• 5+ years of outpatient oncology NP experience.
• Strong solid-tumor oncology experience.
• Experience independently assessing and managing oncology patients.
• Comfortable reviewing labs, imaging, treatment response, and treatment plans.
• Experience managing treatment-related symptoms and toxicities.
• Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent patient and family communication skills.
• Comfortable collaborating closely with physicians.
• Ability to regularly work between the Bethesda and Glen Burnie locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient oncology care for patients in collaboration with physicians.
• Monitor labs, imaging, and treatment response to adjust care plans.
• Manage treatment-related symptoms and toxicities; provide supportive care.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families; participate in shared decision-making.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care across clinic locations.
