Job summary

Foley Cancer Center in Rutland, Vermont seeks a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to deliver comprehensive oncology care across outpatient clinics, inpatient units, ED, and telehealth. The role partners with physicians and supports patients and families through treatment and symptom management.

Expect a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00am–4:30pm, with no weeknight call and one weekend per month on-call coverage. Vermont licensure and relevantBoard certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing.
• Registered with the Vermont State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive oncology patient care under collaborative physician partnership.
• Obtain detailed medical histories and perform focused physical examinations.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage oncology-related conditions and treatment side effects.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory findings.
• Develop and implement treatment and symptom management plans.
• Provide patient and family-centered education and counseling.
• Coordinate care across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and clinical communication.
• Participate in quality assurance and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
