Job summary

Foley Cancer Center in Rutland, Vermont, is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to deliver comprehensive oncology care across outpatient, inpatient, ED and telehealth settings. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with one weekend per month on-call and no weeknight calls.

The role offers a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, with a focus on patient-centered care and ongoing professional development. Vermont licensure or the ability to obtain it is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing (NP) or graduate of an AMA-approved PA program.
• Vermont licensure or ability to obtain licensure.
• NP: ANCC board certification or PA: NCCPA certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive oncology care under physician partnership.
• Take detailed histories and perform focused exams.
• Diagnose, manage oncology conditions and treatment side effects.
• Interpret tests and labs to guide care decisions.
• Develop and implement treatment and symptom plans.
• Educate patients and families and coordinate care.
• Document accurately and communicate with care teams.
• Support quality improvement initiatives.
