Job summary

Advocate Health's Wake Forest University Health Sciences hematology/oncology clinic seeks a Nurse Practitioner for full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday. The NP will use medical decision-making to plan patient care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a high-volume oncology setting.

Requirements include Graduation from an accredited NP Master’s program, current RN/NP licensure in the state, and board certification. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Master’s Program.
• Current applicable state Board of Nursing RN and NP licenses.
• Board certified in NP specialty.

Responsibilities

• Using medical decision-making to determine patient care plans.
• Collaborates with the medical team for team-based care.
• Orders and interprets laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures; explains them to patients.
• Precepts students and/or medical learners when possible.
