Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute, LLC is hiring a Nurse Practitioner to assist physicians in patient care, teaching, and clinical rounds at the Winter Park location. You will participate in multidisciplinary rounds, triage patients, and document histories, treatment plans, and discharge notes.

The position requires an accredited NP program graduate, FL licensure with prescriptive privileges or eligibility, and BLS. On-site care and patient-focused collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner degree from an accredited program.
• Current Florida license to practice with prescriptive privileges or eligible.
• Certification from AANP/ANCC/ONCC preferred; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in patient care and teaching.
• Document patient history, admissions, progress, and discharge notes.
• Conduct rounds and participate in multidisciplinary team activities.
• Triage patients and manage timely care coordination.
• Meet safety, privacy, and regulatory requirements (HIPAA, etc.).
