Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute seeks a Nurse Practitioner to assist physicians in patient care, participate in rounds, and contribute to clinical trials and treatment plans. You will assess patients, prescribe therapies per protocols, and coordinate with the care team.

Florida license with prescriptive privileges or eligibility is required; AANP/ANCC/ONCC certification and BLS are expected. Opportunity to work across locations with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program and hold a master’s degree or post‑masters certificate.
• Current Florida license for practice with prescriptive privileges or eligibility.
• Certifications from AANP, ANCC, or ONCC; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical and psychosocial status via interview, history and examinations.
• Write prescriptions for medications and other therapies per protocols.
• Determine eligibility for clinical trials and interpret study results.
• Communicate care plans with collaborating physicians and care teams.
• Provide on‑call coverage and participate in rounds; document care promptly.
