Job summary

Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center in Louisiana is seeking a Medication Access Specialist to support centralized access for high-cost infusion and specialty therapies. You will evaluate coverage, coordinate prior authorizations, and communicate benefit findings to keep drug-channel workflows moving smoothly.

You’ll collaborate with Pharmacy leadership, clinical teams and payers to minimize delays and ensure appropriate financial access for patients.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience in medication access or related healthcare setting.
• Experience evaluating medical or pharmacy benefits for high-cost medications.
• Oncology, infusion, specialty pharmacy, reimbursement, or complex medication-access experience preferred.
