Position Overview

The Department of Medicine at Roswell Park is seeking an Assistant to Full Professor of Sarcoma Oncology. The primary clinical duties include outpatient sarcoma clinic attendance and inpatient responsibilities, working with a multidisciplinary team of sarcoma specialists. There are opportunities for leadership in sarcoma, guiding early-phase clinical trials, and engaging in clinical research. Under the guidance of the new Chair, Dr. Renier Brentjens, candidates will have the chance to develop comprehensive research programs in a collaborative academic environment, with interactions across various scientific departments.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient care plans for sarcoma patients, including standard and protocol-driven therapies.
  • Participate in teaching and mentoring Hematology and Oncology fellows, residents, and medical students.
Qualifications
  • Board certification in Internal Medicine.
  • Board eligible or certified in Medical Oncology.
  • Ability to meet New York State licensure requirements.
  • Exceptional foreign medical graduates will be considered.
