Job Opportunity: Physician - Internal Medicine (Oncology)

Join a dedicated team at a well-respected outpatient facility located in Reading, PA. This facility, equipped with modern technology including Cerner EMR, is seeking a skilled physician to provide high-quality care in the field of Internal Medicine with a focus on Oncology. The practice is known for its supportive environment and commitment to patient-centered care. You'll be performing procedures such as bone marrow biopsies, intrathecal Omaya reservoir & lumbar punctures, skin biopsies, and port access, while managing a patient load of approximately 15-20 encounters per shift.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform bone marrow biopsies, intrathecal Omaya reservoir & lumbar punctures, skin biopsies, and port access.
• Manage outpatient clinical care for oncology patients.
• Conduct patient evaluations and follow-up visits.
• Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient management.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and adhere to the facility s policies.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine - Oncology.
• Preferred hospital privileges; temporary privileges available.
• Previous experience in oncology preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active medical license in the state of Pennsylvania (or eligibility for temporary privileges).
• Board Certification in Internal Medicine is required.
