Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center

in Jacksonville, Florida, is actively seeking an experienced Medical Oncologist to join our growing oncology team at our Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center South Campus located at the Baptist Medical Center South.

• Our 9-story, 330,000 square foot cancer center is a patient-centered facility dedicated solely to providing the full spectrum of oncology care in a healing environment for our patients and their families.
• In addition to the Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville downtown campus, two regional sites are open: Baptist Medical Center South and Baptist Medical Center Clay. All sites are fully integrated and expanding multidisciplinary cancer care with disease-specific teams in breast surgical oncology, other surgical specialties, radiation oncology, genetics, and medical oncology services.

What You Can Expect

• This physician will practice at Baptist Medical Center South.
• The scope includes general solid tumors and some hematology.
• An established patient panel will be served.
• Weekday hospital coverage from 8-5, supported by three advanced practice providers and two other physicians.
• Support for the clinical, research, and educational missions of our program.
• Shared weekend call duties with our South and Clay campuses.

What You Will Need

• Board-eligibility or board certification in Oncology (or Hematology/Oncology) with a record of clinical and academic achievement.
• Sub-specialization in certain malignancies and engagement in clinical research are encouraged but not required.
