Job description

We have a client in Illinois that is launching a new Medical Oncology practice and seeking a full-time Medical Oncologist to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing cancer care service line, supported by APPs and a multidisciplinary oncology team.

Schedule & Responsibilities :

• Shifts : Monday Friday, 12-hour day shifts (7 : 30 AM start)
• Estimated Shifts / Month : 15
• No call and no weekend coverage required
• Support : In-practice APP support; PRN Oncologist on-site one week / month

Responsibilities include :

• Direct patient care including consults, admissions, and follow-ups
• Hospital rounding as needed
• Coordination with APPs for patient management and orders
• Multidisciplinary care planning with the cancer care team
• Coverage when PRN Oncologist is not on-site
• Privileges : Full and Temporary Available
• EMR : EPIC
• Travel & Lodging : Covered includes airfare, lodging, mileage, rental car)
