Chicago, IL - Medical Oncologist

Start Date: ASAP  |  Pay Rate: $530,000 - $550,000

Medicine Medical Group seeks an exceptional Medical Oncologist to join a growing practice of experienced medical oncologists in Tinley Park, IL.

Medical Oncologist Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for a specified patient population.
• Prescribe pharmaceuticals, medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions.
• Refer patients to specialists and relevant care components as needed.
• Coordinate patient care activities of nursing and support staff.
• Participate in health promotion, education, and prevention programs as appropriate.
• Observe, assess, and record symptoms, reactions, and progress.
• Knowledge of relevant drugs and non-pharmaceutical patient care aids, with the ability to prescribe dosages and instruct patients in correct usage.
