Job Opportunity: Oncology Physician

Job Responsibilities:

1. Provide high-quality patient care in outpatient and inpatient settings.
2. Manage a reasonable patient load of approximately 14 encounters per shift.
3. Participate in shared call responsibilities of 1:5 during evenings and weekends.
4. Conduct follow-up consultations and coordinate patient care.
5. Work collaboratively with a team of APPs and other medical professionals.
6. Ensure timely response to patient calls, with a required 20-minute call response time.
7. Complete daily rounding on assigned patients and oversee admissions as needed.

Qualifications:

• Board certified or board eligible in Oncology.
• Strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Flexibility to accommodate part-time or full-time availability.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of empathy.
• Preferred: Completion of a fellowship in Oncology.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Current medical license in Montana or eligibility to obtain one.
• Active board certification in Oncology is required.
• Hospital privileges are not required, but temporary privileges may be available.
