Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle is seeking a Medical Assistant I to support the General Oncology Clinic. You will room patients, document vital signs, and assist with procedures while maintaining smooth clinic flow.

Work a Monday–Friday schedule with 8-hour shifts starting as early as 7:00am. Training and ongoing education are provided as part of a collaborative care team at the South Lake Union site.

Qualifications

• Completion of a medical assistant program offered by ABHES or CAAHEP-accredited school.
• Military training may satisfy training/experience.
• Current WA Medical Assistant certification or interim status.
• Current BLS certification and renewal every two years.

Responsibilities

• Rooms patients and families to exam/procedure area.
• Documents vital signs and patient information per policy.
• Assists with procedures as directed.
• Maintains clinic flow via clerical tasks and patient transport.
