Job summary

Navicent Health Medical Center - Oncology seeks a Medical Assistant to support patient care in a fast-paced oncology setting. You will perform rooming, vital signs, history taking, and assist with procedures and lab duties. You will also handle medication administration within scope and maintain accurate patient records.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and ability to operate EMR systems, with a 40-hour work week and benefits eligibility. On-site position located in Georgia.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required at multiple sites.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent.
• May accept structured military training in lieu of formal MA program at certain locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform rooming/visit tasks: vitals, history, screenings.
• Assist provider with procedures and lab duties.
• Administer medications and vaccines safely.
• Maintain a clean, stocked clinical environment and patient data.
