Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital in Vero Beach seeks a Medical Assistant for the Hematology Oncology Clinic. The role supports medication management, patient monitoring, and essential administrative tasks in a collaborative outpatient setting with access to state-of-the-art technology.

You will work with a caring oncology team to deliver patient-centered care, participate in patient flow, and help maintain smooth clinic operations during a regular 8:30am–5:00pm schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved Medical Assisting program.
• BLS certification within the new hire period.
• Completion of a clinical externship OR extensive clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medication management, patient monitoring, and administrative tasks.
• Maintain equipment, supplies and examination areas.
• Perform clerical duties such as scheduling, data entry and patient registration.
• Provide a welcoming, compassionate environment for patients and families.
