Job summary

Arizona Blood and Cancer Specialists is seeking a Medical Assistant (Float) to support our Tucson, Green Valley and Oro Valley clinics. You will perform direct patient care and clerical tasks under supervision to ensure compassionate, efficient care and accurate EMR documentation.

The role requires completion of a medical assistant program with preferred CMA certification and 1 year of experience; BLS certification is also preferred.

Qualifications

• Completed medical assistant program.
• Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred).
• 1 yr experience (Preferred).
• BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for exam/treatment and documents vital signs.
• Assists with in-office medical procedures.
• Ensures efficient patient flow and communication between patients and providers.
• Maintains patient charts and accurate documentation in the EMR.
