Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• 0-3 years of clinical experience.
• Current BCLS certification (or obtained within 3 months of hire).
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
• Must meet any state-specific certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and treatment areas.
• Record vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication updates.
• Prepare and stock exam rooms; order supplies as needed.
• Assist with exams and procedures.
• Administer injections (subcutaneous/intramuscular) as delegated.
• Maintain room disinfection protocols.
• Answer patient calls and relay messages to clinical staff.
• Phone in prescriptions and follow up with patients.
• Support administrative tasks: scheduling, chart prep, filing, and reception.
