Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate from Medical Assistant program with externship or relevant clinical experience.
• Current BLS certification upon hire or within orientation period.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for physician examinations and take vital signs.
• Maintain patient charts and perform clerical/registration duties.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals and follow-up care.
• Assist in outpatient clinic procedures and patient education.
