Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med/Surg Oncology unit in Green Bay, WI. The role focuses on holistic, patient-centered care for diverse medical conditions, with oncology emphasis.

You’ll work on a 16-bed Med Surg unit and provide education and support to patients and families throughout diagnosis, treatment, and palliation as needed. Responsibilities include coordinating care using the nursing process, applying evidence-based practice, and ensuring a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association).
• ONS certification class offered after 12 months and required to complete.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Apply evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, and compassionate communication to ensure the best patient experience.
