Job summary

OhioHealth in Ohio is seeking an LPN to provide nursing care to patients and families across the health-illness continuum in diverse care settings, in collaboration with the care team. The LPN is accountable for nursing practice per the Ohio Board of Nursing and delegates tasks to UAPs per the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.

This role serves as a resource for associates, may arrange minor scheduling, and does not supervise; day shift, 36 hours per week in the Oncology Unit 1.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current LPN license issued by the State of Ohio.
• BLS Basic Life Support (AHA) certification.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform health status assessments and document results.
• Develop and implement care plans with the health care team.
• Evaluate patient responses and adjust interventions accordingly.
• Delegate tasks to unlicensed personnel and supervise accordingly.
• Engage in process improvement and patient advocacy.
