Job summary

The MetroHealth System in Cleveland, OH is seeking an LPN for Medical Oncology on a biweekly 72-hour schedule. Under RN or physician supervision, you will provide direct nursing care in the assigned patient area.

You must be a graduate of an approved School of Practical Nursing and hold an Ohio LPN license with medication pass certification, BLS, and basic venipuncture skills. Strong EPIC experience, good multitasking, and the ability to manage patient flow are required.

Qualifications

• Requires Ohio LPN license and active certification to pass medications.
• Certification for Basic Life Support (BLS) through AHA, or obtained within 90 days.
• Proficient venipuncture and blood specimen collection.
• Experience with EPIC and hospital computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to assigned patients in Medical Oncology.
• Follow supervision by RN or physician and adhere to organizational standards.
• Manage patient flow and coordinate care after orientation.
• Handle up to 14-45 residents in long-term care setting after orientation.
