Job summary

Mercy Health’s Springfield Regional Medical Center is seeking an LPN to provide skilled nursing care in Oncology Services. Under RN supervision, you will administer medications and participate in the patient care plan, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

You will collect data, monitor patient status, and document responses while adhering to HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control policies. Eligibility includes an LPN license and BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required depending on assignment.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensed in the state of employment.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required for some units.
• Experience in acute care and telemetry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care and administer medications under supervision.
• Participate in the nursing process and coordinate with the healthcare team.
• Document data, observations and patient responses per policy.
• Assist with phlebotomy and patient data collection.
• Ensure infection control and safety guidelines are followed.
