Responsibilities

• Provide general nursing care per established clinical standards
• Administer medications/treatments safely and accurately
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures
• Monitor/document patient condition and response to treatment
• Take/document vitals, height/weight, allergies, and medication updates
• Perform EKGs and oximetry as needed
• Draw blood specimens (phlebotomy preferred)
• Patient education (meds, treatments, specimen collection)
• Triage incoming calls and phone in prescriptions as directed
• Start IV fluids/administer IV meds per state practice guidelines
