Job summary

Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada is seeking a Lab Assistant in the Las Vegas area to execute a wide breadth of functions essential to patient care, including specimen collection, analysis, instrument maintenance, and quality control in a high-volume oncology lab.

Under supervision, you will document results, prepare specimens, and assist with testing procedures while ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and accurate record-keeping in a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 0–5 years of laboratory experience or exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects appropriate specimens from patients as ordered.
• Performs specimen analysis and prepares samples for testing.
• Maintains logs and quality control records; ensures proper documentation.
• Maintains inventory and ensures supplies are viable for testing.
• Performs phlebotomy as needed and assists with testing procedures.
