Job summary

Kettering Health Hamilton is seeking a Registered Nurse for oncology infusion, providing quality nursing care to patients receiving hematological/oncological treatments. You will administer chemotherapy and biotherapy agents, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safety and effective symptom management.

Qualified candidates must be Ohio-licensed RNs, with BSN preferred and ONS/OCN certifications strongly valued.

Qualifications

Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse.
BSN preferred (completed within 5 years of hire).
ONS chemotherapy and Biotherapy administration certification or obtain within 6 months.
OCN certification highly preferred.
New graduates may be considered if clinical rotation at a network hospital occurred.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to oncology patients and manage hematological/oncological treatments.
Collaborate with the Clinical Nurse Manager and healthcare team.
Educate patients and support persons about disease, symptoms, and treatments.
Ensure safe chemotherapy/biotherapy administration and monitor for adverse effects.
Participate in performance and practice improvement activities.
