Job summary

South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Outpatient Cancer Infusion Center to provide chemotherapy, immunotherapy, hydration and supportive care in an outpatient setting. You will assess patients, administer treatments, monitor for adverse reactions, educate patients, and coordinate care with the healthcare team.

Requires current MS RN license; CPR or ACLS preferred; oncology/infusion experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RN license by the MS Board of Nursing.
• Ability to read/write/communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to oncology patients receiving chemotherapy, immunotherapy, hydration and other infusion treatments.
• Assess patients and administer treatments per protocols.
• Monitor for adverse reactions and manage symptoms.
• Educate patients and coordinate care with multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and ensure safety practices.
