Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Registered Nurse (Oncology/Chemo) in Fountain Valley, CA for a full-time outpatient infusion role. You will provide direct nursing care to oncology patients, administer chemotherapy and biotherapy under physician supervision, and coordinate care to ensure safety and compassionate treatment.

The RN will perform patient assessments, monitor treatment, educate patients and families, operate infusion pumps, and maintain accurate EMR documentation.

Qualifications

• Active California RN License required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification through ONS or within 12 months of hire.
• Strong IV therapy and vascular access skills.
• Experience with port-a-caths and PICC lines.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and basic computer applications.
• Excellent patient communication and service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, hydration therapies and other prescribed meds under physician supervision.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing treatment monitoring.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and side effects.
• Operate ambulatory infusion pumps and manage vascular access devices.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in quality improvements.
• Support clinic operations and collaborate with the care team.
