UT Health San Antonio's MCC Infusion clinic is seeking an Associate RN to provide direct nursing care to patients at the Mays Cancer Center. You will assist physicians during treatments, prepare equipment, and support the interdisciplinary team in a busy oncology infusion unit.

The role requires an Associate Degree in Nursing, Texas RN licensure, CPR/BLS, and up to one year of nursing experience. Excellent communication, teamwork, and precepting skills are valued as you help develop protocols

Qualificações

Associate degree in Nursing required.
Up to one year of nursing experience required.
Active TX RN licensure and CPR/BLS certification required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to serve as a preceptor/mentor and support staff training.

Responsabilidades

Provides direct nursing care in infusion clinic, assisting physicians during treatment and examinations.
Administers prescribed medications, observes patients, and documents conditions and reactions.
Develops and updates protocols and procedure manuals.
Performs routine maintenance and prepares rooms, instruments, and supplies.
Documents patient care and assists with staff training.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
