Job summary

Allina Health Infusion Saint Paul is seeking an experienced Oncology Infusion RN to manage chemotherapy and biotherapy care, coordinate patient education and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

You will follow nursing standards, document meticulously, and participate in evidence-based practice initiatives within the cancer institute.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Vocational degree in Nursing is required.
• 1+ years of ambulatory oncology RN experience with IV skills; or 3+ years infusion/ICU experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1+ years peripheral IV insertion skills and 1+ years phlebotomy experience.
• 1+ years experience with EPIC EMR, Beacon module.
• Active RN license in MN and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of chemotherapy, biotherapy and supportive care to hematology/oncology patients in accordance with Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy.
• Completes patient assessment and education; documents care per policy.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to coordinate and maintain continuity of care.
• Performs administrative tasks that support quality patient care and maintains accountability for assigned patients.
• Follows research protocols and performs other duties as assigned.
