Job summary

Sanford Health in Bemidji, MN seeks a Pharmacist to join the infusion pharmacy within the Joe Lueken Cancer Center. You will review prescriptions, advise on interactions and storage, and dispense medications for oncology and home infusion patients.

Experience in oncology or sterile compounding is preferred, with training offered. A sign-on bonus is available. Typical shifts start early morning, with a consistent weekday schedule and a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Hospital or medical center experience preferred.
• Licensed pharmacist in good standing by the State Board of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Review prescriptions to assure accuracy and appropriate ingredients.
• Provide drug information, counsel on interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage.
• Dispense prescription and non-prescription medications in infusion/home-infusion setting.
• Oversee pharmacy staff and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
