Job summary

Rittenhouse Hematology Oncology LLC in Bala Cynwyd, PA is seeking an Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join our outpatient oncology team. This full-time role focuses on compassionate infusion therapy and patient-centered care.

You will perform histories, assessments, venipuncture, IV chemotherapy administration, and educate patients and families while coordinating care with the oncology team and supporting transitions to home or hospice when appropriate.

Qualifications

• RN license in Pennsylvania required or pending active PA license
• BSN preferred
• CPR certification required
• Experience in outpatient oncology and chemotherapy preferred
• Knowledge of chemotherapy drugs and associated side effects

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including histories and assessments
• Perform venipuncture and IV chemotherapy administration
• Review medications, vital signs, and pain scores at each visit
• Educate patients and families on diagnostic tests, treatments and side effects
• Document care plans and interventions in medical records
• Coordinate care with interprofessional team and assist with discharge planning and transitions to home or hospice
