Job summary

St. Charles Health System is seeking a RN Infusion to provide comprehensive infusion services as part of the health care team. You will oversee other caregivers and ensure nursing practice aligns with Oregon laws and SCHS policies, focusing on patient and family experience.

Requirements include current Oregon RN license, BLS/CPR, and chemotherapy certification within 6 months. Oncology-related CEUs preferred; BSN encouraged.

Qualifications

• Current Oregon RN license and BLS/CPR.
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Oncology CEUs required to support Cancer Center accreditations.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and needs using clinical judgment.
• Administer medications and dosages per policy and procedures.
• Document patient care accurately and maintain confidentiality.
• Collaborate with physicians, NPs, PAs and care team for care planning.
• Provide therapeutic presence and communicate effectively with patients and families.
• Support continuous quality improvement and Lean principles within the unit.
