Responsibilities

• Utilize nursing process per scope and standards for oncology nursing practice.
• Document all patient-related clinical information and assess needs to plan interventions.
• Use Teach Back to assess understanding and facilitate discharge education.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hospital policies and oncology practice standards; pursue ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certification within 6 months.
• Ensure accurate billing/documentation to support charges and unit-based education and competencies.
• Address patient requests and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to improve patient satisfaction and care outcomes.
