Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education; BSN preferred.
• RN license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Must maintain continuing education requirements.
• 0-3 years nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote continuity of care.
• Assess health status and document nursing assessments.
• Review results, labs, and psychosocial data with provider.
• Provide teaching and psychosocial support to patients and families.
• Prepare and administer therapies under physician direction.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.
• Assist physician with exams and procedures.
• Coordinate patient care and referrals to services.
• Manage medication refill requests and patient flow.
