Job summary

Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers in Boulder is seeking a full-time Oncology Infusion Nurse to provide safe, high-quality infusion services in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. The ideal candidate is clinically strong, compassionate, and committed to supporting patients and families throughout treatment.

Responsibilities include administering chemotherapy and hydration, ensuring pre-authorization, operating infusion pumps, documenting care, and coordinating with physicians.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• RN license in practicing state with current registration.
• BLS certification with ongoing continuing education requirements.
• Minimum two years nursing experience; oncology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers chemotherapy, hydration and other medications under physician supervision.
• Ensures pre-authorization and appropriate consent forms are obtained prior to therapies.
• Operates ambulatory infusion pumps and documents usage.
• Assesses patient and labs, determines dosage modifications with physician input.
• Performs venipuncture and central line care; manages infusion devices.
• Documents nursing assessments and patient teaching in the chart.
• Triage patient calls and communicate interventions to physicians.
• Provide patient and family education and support throughout treatment.
