Qualifikationen

• Current BLS and ACLS or obtained within 90 days of employment.
• Current Registered Nursing License in the state the role is based in for RNs.
• OCN preferred.
• IV and venous access device management skills.
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy administration experience.

Aufgaben

• Provide infusion care and monitor therapy per protocol.
• Assess and monitor patients undergoing oncology treatments.
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures and maintain patient flow.
• Document care elements and communicate interventions to the care team.
• Educate patients and families and coordinate referrals as needed.
• Triages patient/family calls and maintains confidentiality.
• Mentor and guide nursing staff and coordinate with trial teams.
