Job summary

Nebraska Medicine in Omaha, NE is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Oncology ICU (WICU) night shift. This 12-bed unit serves adult surgical, oncology and palliative care patients receiving chemotherapy.

You will provide, delegate, and coordinate comprehensive nursing care with a multidisciplinary team. Requirements include a BSN or eligibility for exception, Nebraska RN license, BLS, and department-dependent PALS/ACLS; TNCC/ATCN within a year.

Qualifications

• BSN required unless Exception A or B criteria are met.
• Licensed as RN in Nebraska or compact state.
• BLS certification required.
• PALS certification department dependent; if ED, PALS within 6 months of hire.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• TNCC or ATCN within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide, prescribe, delegate, and coordinate nursing care with other health care providers to meet holistic care needs of a designated group of patients.
• Environment of care may be long term, emergent, critical, acute, interventional, or procedural.
