Job summary

CARIN Alliance seeks an Oncology/Surgical ICU Registered Nurse to deliver complex, evidence-based critical care for oncology and post-surgical patients in a demanding environment.

You will perform advanced patient assessments, manage life-support devices, and coordinate with an interdisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans, while educating patients and families throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure with strong ICU and critical care nursing knowledge.
• Competency in advanced assessment and managing high-acuity therapies and devices.
• Ability to coordinate care using evidence-based, protocol-driven approaches.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient/family education skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced patient assessments and continuous monitoring.
• Manage life-support equipment including ventilators, infusions (drips), and central lines.
• Support chemotherapy administration and oncology-specific protocols.
• Collaborate with intensivists, surgeons, and an interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate and advocate for patients and families throughout the care process.
