Job summary

Qualifications

• Board certified or eligible in Medical Oncology or Hematology
• Eligible for Virginia licensure
• Fosters an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with diverse faculty, staff, and students

Responsibilities

• Teaching medical students, residents and fellows in the clinic; mentoring and providing research opportunities.
• Participates in collaborative research with Massey Cancer Center and Department of Internal Medicine; educates patients on clinical trial options.
• Participate in program tumor boards, QA/I activities, and project meetings; provide teaching sessions to the APP in the CIT program.
• Attends the inpatient Bone Marrow Transplant Unit and sees patients in the outpatient clinic for consults, post-transplant care and survivorship.
