Job summary

Lovelace Medical Group in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is seeking a BE/BC Oncology/Hematology Physician to join a fast-growing family of Lovelace Health System hospitals and clinics. This role offers a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment with access to advanced technology and a strong support staff.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8a-5p, with shared night/weekend call for inpatient consultations.

Qualifications

• Board certified/eligible in Medical Oncology or Hematology.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8a to 5p.

Responsibilities

• Join a team consisting of three dedicated Oncologists.
• Coordinated cancer program offering Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, and Breast Oncology services.
• Collaborative partnership with Pulmonology through the ION robotic bronchoscopy program, supporting early lung cancer diagnosis and timely initiation of treatment within a multidisciplinary care model.
• Robust support staff including RN Navigator, Triage RN, Infusion RNs, Dietician, Pharmacist, Phlebotomists, and Medical Assistants.
• 9 Exam Rooms and 12 bay infusion suite.
• Patient volume: average of 16-20 patients per day in clinic.
• Epic EMR and Ambience AI scribe technology to automate documentation, reduce administrative burden, improve patient flow, and ensure accurate coding.
