Role Summary
You will provide therapeutic area/product expertise for the Thoracic Oncology Team across a broad range of Medical customer segments and initiatives in New England.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute Medical strategy and engagement for assigned customers within a territory, coordinating with Pfizer colleagues to achieve objectives.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant disease states and Pfizer medicines, providing information to stakeholders.
- Serve as a resource for Medical Information and customer insights, sharing information and customer viewpoints appropriately.
- Contribute to Medical content strategy development and execute aligned Field Medical tactics.
- Communicate effectively with headquarters Medical colleagues, Medical Information, and Field Medical teams.
- Demonstrate expertise in communication channels, including presentations, written communication, and virtual conversations.
- Optimize patient-centricity in Medical communications, incorporating Health Literacy and cultural awareness principles.
- Deliver approved medical content about Pfizer medicines and topics in the therapeutic area.
- Identify and engage with priority customer segments.
- Provide truthful, accurate, and scientifically supported information in response to medical requests, complying with Pfizer guidelines.
- Lead advisory boards with manager oversight.
- Handle inbound queries from HCPs via established processes.
- Partner with Research & Development and Global Product Development in identifying clinical trial sites, including underrepresented populations.
- Support Investigator Sponsored Research processes.
- Cultivate research and therapeutic expertise, staying updated with congress data and literature.
- Provide Asset leadership and understand study design, data analysis, and interpretation.
- Exhibit strong territory leadership and communicate proactively with Patient Advocacy Groups.
- Participate in cross-functional committees and represent Pfizer Medical Affairs in professional societies.
- Mentor onboarding partners, advisory board, and study leads.
- Participate in special projects as needed.
Basic Qualifications
- MD or DO degree required.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Recognized subject matter expert.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and conflict management.

Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with SOPs, regulations regarding Pfizer/customer interactions.
- Previous Field Medical experience.
