Job summary

Willamette Valley Cancer Institute is seeking an Oncology Dietitian to join our multidisciplinary care team in Eugene, OR. The role focuses on nutrition assessment, counseling, and management for patients before, during, and after treatment, with strong preference for CSO or RD-CSO certification.

Salary ranges between $50,611 and $105,116, with a 0.8 FTE schedule (32 hours/week). Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k). Location includes Eugene and Springfield, OR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics.
• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Licensed Dietitian with the State of Oregon.
• RD-CSO preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nutrition assessments using the Nutrition Care Process.
• Identify nutrition problems and etiologies through data analysis for patients at nutritional risk.
• Assist in evaluating patients' nutritional needs and plans for home dietary management.
• Document all clinical activity on patient charts according to policy.
• Counsel patients and families on diet and nutrition therapy; educate healthcare professionals.
• Develop and implement nutrition programs; participate in staff training and in-services.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team.
• Contribute to community projects and educational presentations as needed.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics

Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration

Licensed Dietitian with the State of Oregon
